Girls Aloud are more like colleagues than friends: Coyle

London, Dec 6 (IANS) Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle says she and the other members of the band are more like “colleagues than friends”.
The singer believes the time she spends with the other members Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding is similar to a holiday because they all get on well when they are together but rarely speak when apart, reports femalefirst.co.uk
“Being in Girls Aloud was a bit like being on holiday with people that you swear you’ll keep in touch with when you get back and then, you don’t. At the end of the day, I would say we were more colleagues than friends.”
However, the 25-year-old star admits that they might get back together if their schedule can be reduced.
“The last time the five of us were in a room together was at the Coldplay gig (support slot in London in September 2009). I think we could get together again. It would depend very much on everybody else’s position. The thing about Girls Aloud was how hard we worked,” she said.
“It never ended. If we had carried on with that workload there’s no way we could have kept it as a genuine thing.
“The whole point of us, and why we did so well, was because it was convincing and we were convincing. But if we stopped being convincing it could never happen. Let’s see if we can get back to that position as five women. I think it could happen,” she added.
