Gibson’s ex thought he would kill her

New York, Oct 7 (IANS) Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva feared that veteran actor would kill her in a fit of rage.
The couple split in April and the break-up turned nasty when the Russian singer accused Gibson of beating her during a violent argument in January.
Talking about the fight, Grigorieva, 40, said Gibson, 54, had hit her while she was holding their daughter Lucia. “I thought he would kill me,” people.com quoted her as saying.
She said Gibson would often fly into jealous rages, talk about suicide and once brandished a gun in front of her.
She also revealed why she decided to tape Gibson’s angry phone calls. “I needed to document his threats,” said Grigorieva, who denies she leaked them.
She also refutes Gibson’s claim that she used the tapes to extort him.
“I’m not angry at him. For the sake of Lucia, I really want him to be well. He has to have the courage to be responsible for what he’s done,” she said.
