London, Dec 6 (IANS) Veteran actor Mel Gibson hopes to revive his dwindling movie career as his new film “The Beaver” releases in 2011.
The film directed by Jodie Foster was put on hold when Gibson hit the headlines earlier this year amid reports of a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. The controversy even cost him a cameo in the upcoming “The Hangover” sequel.
But executives at Summit Entertainment are now ready to launch Gibson’s comeback - the studio has confirmed the movie will hit theatres a weekend in April next year, reports dailystar.co.uk.
