‘G.I Joe’, ‘Star Trek’ sequels in the pipeline

Washington, January 12 (ANI): Movie bosses at Paramount pictures are set to produce a sequel to ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,’ it has emerged.

“Zombieland” scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are reported to write the script for the second installment of the Hasbro toy inspired movie.

Paramount is also set to make a sequel to ‘Star Trek,’ reports Variety magazine.

The yet untitled film is supposed to hit theaters on June 29, 2012.

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman apart from “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof are presently working on the script. (ANI)
