Dec.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Even though Halloween is already over, some people are still having a hangover of the supernatural elements. That explains why a number of ghost series are still running on popular TV channels. The Ghost Stories are popular with the viewers and they wait with much anticipation for the finale. It can be termed as a blend of emotional intervention series and ghost hunting. People generally love to watch unconventional stuff on supernatural elements and the Channels are utilizing this mindset to the full. TLC hopes to taste success with a docu drama named “Ghost Intervention”.

It shows a group of psychic women and their efforts to aid a household deal with unexplained activities. It is not exactly like a therapy though. The idea of counseling the victims of paranormal activities stem from the concept that evil spirits typically target the people with problems. Therefore, the ghost hunters think that they can help the victims by counseling and after that they are able to cope with the so called spirits better. Earlier, Celebrity Ghost Stories became quite popular with the viewers when it was managed by the late David Carradine. Interestingly, he was found dead in a hotel under mysterious and unexplained circumstances after narrating a tale about an encounter with the ex spouse of his wife. This kind of incidents make a series really eerie.

However, “Ghost Interventions” open with a batch of women seeing a household where a boy is attacked by an evil spirit. It takes place at the house’s basement. Maybe this series can turn out to be a little different from other ghost oriented shows.
