News is that Red Chillies Entertainment’s first fiction show, ‘Ghar Ki Baat Hai’ which did pretty well on NDTV Imagine was all supposed to come back has been delayed. With the success, the channel and production house had decided to bring back the second season of the same in 6 months.

“Yes, it was decided to bring back the show in 6 months time but things are getting delayed. The production house had a meeting with the channel on Tuesday but it seems that the show will be getting more delayed,” chirps the little birdie.

‘Ghar Ki Baat Hai’, inspired from the 1980’s hit television series ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’. revolved around the hilarious circumstances and events that take place in the lives of the Yagnik family. We called up Sumeet Raghavan who played the role of Rajdip Yagnik to know more about the progress. “Even I have no idea as to why the show is delayed so much but I believe we will soon be back on Imagine. I guess the channel will have more information,” he concludes.

Apart from Sumeet Raghavan, the comic caper starred Juhi Babbar, Swapnil Joshi, Jayati Bhatia and Ali Asgar.
