Ghai to be in Emmy awards jury again
September 25th, 2009 - 4:40 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS) Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has been selected as a jury member at the International Emmy Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
The award function will be held in New York in November.
“I am honoured to be a part of the International Emmy awards 2009 jury and feel humbled representing my country on this international stage,” said Ghai, who directed box office hits like “Pardesh” and “Taal”.
Holding high hopes for India, Ghai said in a statement: “It is my dream to see India too being nominated for these awards and I hope my dream comes true soon.”
