Gerard Butler pledges to fight for Scottish films
December 3rd, 2009 - 5:15 pm ICT by ANILondon, December 3 (ANI): Gerard Butler is vouching for more movies to be made in his native Scotland after being signed up as an ambassador for the country’s film industry.
The Ugly Truth actor recently convinced Hollywood chiefs to hold the premiere of his latest blockbuster, Law Abiding Citizen, in Glasgow.
“Glasgow is a great place to make movies,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“You can shoot anything here, from urban and contemporary to rural and period.
“The crews are fantastic and it’s an easy city to get around. You spend endless hours in traffic when you make movies elsewhere,” he added. (ANI)
