George Michael’s prison shopping list revealed
October 26th, 2010 - 2:36 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Oct 26 (ANI): Pop star George Michael treated himself to a range of products to maintain his appearance in jail.
Shopping receipts from the star’s time behind bars obtained by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper reveal the star kept up his beauty regime by ordering a bottle of Head & Shoulders shampoo, Macleans Whitening toothpaste and toenail clippers, reports the Daily Telegraph.
He also asked for several pouches of tobacco and a variety of sweet treats, including chocolate eclairs, cookies, cakes and strawberry jam, as well as tea bags, potato chips and peanut butter.
The singer served 27 days of his sentence for possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of drugs following a car crash in north London in July.
Michael began his stint at London’s tough Pentonville Prison, but was later transferred to a minimum-security facility in Suffolk, England until his release earlier this month. (ANI)
