George Michael painting walls in prison
September 26th, 2010 - 2:45 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 26 (ANI): Incarcerated singer George Michael has apparently been painting the walls in prison.
For his artistic efforts at HMP Highpoint in Suffolk, the 47-year-old millionaire singer earns only a few quid a week.
George - jailed for eight weeks for smashing his car into a shop after smoking cannabis - abandoned a bid for bail last week.
“Just like the other lags, George is working during the day. He’s painting the walls inside the prison,” News of the World quoted a source as saying.
“It’s like the Forth Bridge, it just needs painting over and over. But it keeps the inmates busy and takes their minds off how much time they’ve got left to serve.” (ANI)
