Sep 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It came as a shock to the fans of George Lopez when his representative Ina Treciokas read a joined statement where it was stated that the comedian and his wife has decided to call it quits after 17 years of their married life. The representative refused to divulge any more details about the whole issue but the gossip portals are abuzz with the news that the reason for the split is George Lopez’s infidelity. The couple will reportedly hold the joined custody of their daughter Mayan Lopez.

Ann Lopez donated one of her kidneys to her husband in 2005. When asked why she took the decision Ann Lopez said that it was an easy decision for her as she was in a position where she could lose someone she loves. George Lopez also said that he would not be able to pay Ann Lopez back what she did but he would try to keep his wife “happy”. The representative of the comedian said that the couple has harmoniously decided to part their ways and they will also be the “dedicated” parents of their child. The couple was not available for any details about the marriage. However, the couple will reportedly be the partners in their charitable foundation named “The Lopez Foundation”.

The recent rumor that surfaced online after the couple declared that they are all set to end their marriage was that George Lopez visited an escort named Tiffany. The professional escort reportedly told a reputed media outlet that she and her friend had sex with George Lopez for “money”. The rumor spread like a wildfire on Internet and the people are now scrambling on the web to find out the latest update about the divorce. It is not yet reported if the couple has filed for a divorce.
