Los Angeles, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) George Clooney’s new movie “The Men Who Stare At Goats,” opened in movie theaters last week. And the reviews have been mixed.
According to newuniversity.org, ‘“The Men Who Stare At Goats,” which is about a journalist Bob (Ewan McGregor), who decides he wants to cover the beginning of the Second Gulf War, has been described as thoroughly enjoyable’.
According to nycmovieguru.com it is, “An outrageously funny, tongue-in-cheek satire filled with lively, amusing performances, but its comedic momentum gradually loses steam and leaves you wishing that it had more consistent cleverness and bite”.
According to some critics, the movie has a strong start, and is absolutely funny and interesting, but it loses its fizzle in some time. And according to some it could be better polished had the script been a bit better and with some wittier dialogues and situations, it could have had been a better hit.
The movie is said to be about the trivial, interesting, yet apparently true story about the U.S. Military’s research into supernatural combat.
