Jan 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) George Clooney has announced his marriage vows. It sounds like an euphemism really, for it constitutes one simple resolution: not to marry. It looks like he has learnt a bitter lesson from his broken marriage to Talia Balsam, to whom he had been married for four years. The two had married in 1989 and parted ways in 1993. Therefore, although he has had a string of girlfriends, including Sarah Larson, Lisa Snowdon, and most recently, Elisabetta Canalis, he plans to steer clear of wedding woes, vowing never to walk down the aisle again.

It seems that the broken marriage with Talia Balsam is the one that had opened the eyes of the “Up In The Air” actor to an ugly truth about himself: that he would never make a good spouse. In fact, he claims, this can explain the relationships that he keeps getting involved in do not work. The handsome actor feels that this is exactly the reason why no woman sticks to him for long, and he finds the phenomenon quite justified, as, he admits, he would not have been with himself for long had he been his own girlfriend.

The actor further feels that his commitment to work and the fact that he is almost always working is what breaks up his relationships. Moreover, he pursues diverse interests besides acting, and that too gets in the way of the relationships. He also claims that despite people thinking that he should get married, he feels that he should not.The news may sound like music to his fans.
