George Clooney wins Best Actor at Washington Critics Awards
December 10th, 2009 - 3:00 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, December 10 (ANI): George Clooney’s new film ‘Up In The Air,’ has been hugely appreciated and rewarded at the Washington Critics Awards.
The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) noted the film for the Best Movie award, while the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star landed with the Best Actor prize for his role in the film.
Also, filmmaker Jason Reitman took the Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay Awards for the film, Contactmusic reports.
‘Up In The Air,’ had earned Best Film honor from the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures last week.
Meanwhile, Brit star Carey Mulligan was named Best Actress for her role in ‘An Education.’ (ANI)
