George Clooney vows not to get married again

Los Angeles, Jan 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor George Clooney doesn’t want to get married, because he is sure, that he would be a very bad husband. He vows that he would not get married again, because he is a ‘lousy’ husband. He was previously married to actress Talia Balsam during the period 1989 to 1993. He is even surprised that he manages to get in a relationship with his girlfriends, because he says that he is such a person that he wouldn’t even date himself. This is because, he is such a person, who has varied interests and passions besides acting, and so it is very difficult for his partner to put up with his eccentricities very long.
Currently he is in a relationship with Italian actress and presenter Elisabetta Canalis. “People are always trying to marry me off, thinking I am suffering in some way. I tried marriage – and it didn’t work. I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time. My fear is that I would still make a lousy husband and I don’t want to put myself, or anyone else, through the pain of finding out.”
The 48-year-old star says that he married quite early in his life, and he still wonders that if he had married late, then perhaps it might have worked for him. He might have understood the institution of marriage better, to make it work for him.
