Jan 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While a number of Hollywood celebrities ushering in the new year with the news of their impending marriage going public, for actor George Clooney, things are definitely not the same. In a recent interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan, the “Ocean’s Eleven” star made it very clear that he has no intentions of walking down the aisle despite the fact that he has been romantically involved with Italian model and actress Elisabetta Canalis for more than a year now. However, it is not as if the 49-year-old actor has never had the taste of marriage as he is known to have been married to actress Talia Balsam for a brief period of time between 1989 to 1993.

While talking to Piers Morgan on an episode that was aired on Friday night, George Clooney revealed various intrinsic details about his personal life while adding that his marriage to Talia Balsam which came to an end in the year 1993 was more than enough for him. During the CNN interview, the “Michael Clayton” star was also accompanied with his father Nick Clooney who went on to express his desire about seeing his son walk down the aisle once again. The senior Clooney also cited the example of his own successful marriage which he described as “one of the great marriages.”

However, the 49-year-old Hollywood superstar hardly seemed convinced with his father’s response and went on to say, “but I was married, so I gave it a shot.” Meanwhile, in the CNN interview, the actor also talked about his recent bout with malaria which he contracted during a recent trip to Sudan.
