george-clooney-in-venice1ggFeb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rumors had it that Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney is selling out his Italian villa to David and Victoria Beckham. Well, that’s what the buzz is. The Beckham couple are up in the pipeline in buying it. It’s also in the news that a Russian billionaire has come up with a second bidding, an offer that George Clooney can’t refuse.

It is believed that the Russian tycoon has thrown in an offering of $ 46 million for George Clooney’s priced possession. However, George Clooney has recently denied any such gossip concerning the selling out his Lake Como villa in Laglio, Italy to soccer icon David and Victoria Beckham.

David Beckham, who was recently in the country on loan for ace soccer club AC Milan, was believed to have been linked to the gossip story in buying George Clooney’s villa at a pre-decided price quoted somewhere close to George Clooney’s $41.6 million property. The villa includes tennis courts, a botanic garden, and an annex. What seems contrary is George Clooney’s statement as he summarily rejects any such rumors in selling out his villa. He calls the entire thing to be a “made up” story all revolving around him and a media scoop which should never be trusted. He made it particular that he is not in any mood or pressure to sell out his Villa. George Clooney also made it clear that he isn’t buying any island as well. It is estimated that around $10 million was settled for the villa in 2002. George Clooney had moved over to the dandy place with his girlfriend, Italian television anchor Elisabetta Canalis.
