Laglio, Feb 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood star George Clooney has flatly denied the reports, that he is going to sell his Lake Como villa in Laglio, Italy to the football superstar David Beckham and his singer wife Victoria Beckham. David Beckham, is presently in the country on loan to top soccer club AC Milan, and he was said to be in high level negotiations to buy the luxury villa property from the Hollywood actor. “I have fallen in love with the beautiful countryside. It’s peaceful, quiet and near Milan. It would be great for the family”, contactmusic.com quoted him saying. The Lake Como villa in Laglio, Italy is worth around USD 41.6 million.

George Clooney has dismissed all such sale rumors of his villa and he also insisted that they are “made up”. “To complete the news cycle: I am not buying an island and am not selling my house in Italy. The story was made up, then picked up and now denied. End of another riveting day of false news,” says Clooney in a statement

Another rumor that has surfaced, was that the Italian paparazzi were not letting him live in peace in his Lake Como villa, so due to the paparazzi pressure he is being forced to sell his villa, and after selling his villa, he is going to buy a home on the Lake’s Loreto Island. However all these are just mere baseless rumors, as they have been shot down by George Clooney’s straight forward statement, in which he says that he is neither selling his villa and nor buying an island.
