New York, July 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christopher Nolan’s newest offering “Inception” has turned out to be a bafflement for many viewers. With Christopher Nolan re-arranging his gray matter in a dreamy thriller, many have plain not got the hint! The ending scene of the thriller has been regarded as extremely confusing and the viewers are scratching their heads over it. Only if they could find an answer.
In the popular social networking site Twitter, users have demanded an explanation for “Inception” ending. Some called it “Genius”, some “Boggling” and some says it’s “Frustrating”. A late post from a regular “Twitizen” said “ending of Inception almost gave me an anxiety attack”. The ending of the movie is undoubtedly ambiguous which is reminiscent of Christopher Nolan’s earlier masterpieces like “The Prestige”.
In the final scene of the movie one sees how Leonardo DiCaprio’s totem spins on the table which apparently gives the idea that the man is still in his dream. When Leonardo DiCaprio’s character meets Michael Caine and they re-unite with the kids, it’s understandable that he had decided to frame all events in reality while he was subconscious in Fischer’s dream. On the other hand the other possible outcome of the ending scene is that Leonardo DiCaprio’s character woke up naturally when the clock in his dream went off. What about “Satio”? How did he managed to grow old without losing his mental suppleness? Indeed there are several different ways in which the ending of “Interception” can be interpreted but none seems to be sure what would have been the case. The other side of the story is a smart director who likes to ploy and play with the inner psyche of the audience and test their intelligence through his movies.
