Genelia on her way up in both films and ad campaigns Genelia D’souza was in New Delhi on Wednesday April 15th to launch Samsung’s Ultra Touch, a full touch slider phone with an 8 megapixel camera.

She was dressed in a white figure hugging dress Genelia posed with the handset along with Jung Soo Shin and Sunil Dutt of Samsung. Genelia seems to be fast emerging as the new favorite for endorsements in the recession hit corporate world. She has also recently inked a deal to promote Cadbury’s Perk chocolate which had been made famous earlier by dimpled beauty Preity Zinta. Her ad campaigns now include brands such as Parker pen with Amitabh Bachchan, Fair and Lovely with cricketer Krish Srikanth, Fanta Apple and Vatika. Many more endorsement deals are on the way for the young actress. Despite her success, the 21-year-old remains firmly grounded and counts her blessings: “I’m God’s favorite child; I believe that God has always been kind to me,” she says.

She has also got a good line up of films ahead what with a sequel to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane with co-star Imran Khan apart from Life Partner, Anees Bazmee’s It’s My Life, UTV’s Hook Ya Crook and finally her latest sign up, Yahoo being directed by Ken Ghosh starring Shahid Kapoor. -Sampurn Media
