NCISMar 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Police Story NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service has been really good at hitting it hard at the viewers end with never ending surprise packages. They boost it up with the entry of a guest star thus adding it up to the feel good factor for the series as a whole. Bringing in Gena Rowlands, that was perhaps the smartest move. It is very much necessary for a long ongoing story telling session to offer boredom. So sudden intrusions of new characters actually serves to ease off the boredom and also add a twist to the course line of the story.

NCIS has undoubtedly depicted great story telling techniques and Gena Rowlands’ entry into the serial supports the fact. Gena Rowlands came in to portray the character of the ex mother-in-law for Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Hermon). Joann Fielding, as her character is called, is adding to the tension which occurs as a recurring motif throughout the series. Quite evidently, it’s the character of Gena Rowlands that takes Mark Hermon a.k.a Leroy Jethro Gibbs’s character through a series of bad blood flashbacks. The story tellers of NCIS obviously didn’t make it easy for Gena Rowland’s character to come out easy upon Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Gena Rowlands and her character Joan Fielding will be rediscovering Leroy Jethro Gibbs’s past that has been haunting the cop for years. In that way, the viewers shall also have one more reason to sit glued their television sets to watch the high paced American police procedural drama with a new found interest, thus shooting up high TRP ratings. Way to go NCIS.
