Gemma Arterton rubbishes culture of pencil thin actors in films
September 13th, 2010 - 2:38 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 13 (ANI): Gemma Arterton has raised her voice against the pressure on actors to be stick-thin.
While the actress has had pulsating effect on many males, nonetheless she resents the pressure on actors to be wafer thin.
“I don’t know why there should be pressure for actors because they should be able to play every type of person; It’s a load of rubbish, honestly”, the Daily Express quoted Gemma as saying.
“No one would ask Judi Dench, ‘Do you eat every day?” added the former Bond Girl, who takes the lead in Stephen Frears’s new flick ‘Tamara Drewe’. (ANI)
