December 19th, 2009 - 4:51 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, December 19 (ANI): Actress Gemma Arterton has chosen theatre over films.
The beauty is set to star in stage show ‘The Little Dog Laughed’ on the West End.
“There were many reasons for doing this play, but one of them was, ‘Oh I’ve just done these Hollywood movies - and now I can do a play about some aspects of Hollywood and some of the things I’ve seen,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
She added: “I’ve had a taste of it (fame) and I don’t want it. I would rather do a play in England, thank you very much.”
Arterton had made an appearance in Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost in London in 2007. (ANI)
