gayad3 New York City, Feb 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS has reportedly rejected a Gay Dating site advertisement that the company wanted to show during the Super Bowl. The advertisement was made by the company ManCrunch.com It is a gay dating site, and they wanted to run a gay ad during the Super Bowl, but CBS has said a firm ‘No’ to the request.

They had submitted the ad to be reviewed, and CBS reviewed the advertisement, and the company – ManCrunch.com too, and they decided against running the ad during the Super Bowl. Reportedly the CBS Standards and Practices said that, “the ad was concluded that the creative is not within the Network’s Broadcast Standards for Super Bowl Sunday.” And since ManCrunch.com couldn’t get through the company, so they are going to face rejection by the other networks too, in all probability.

The spokesman for ManCrunch.com said, “It’s disappointing. We perceived the spot to be quite harmless. We just think this is just another result of the discrimination that is part of Super Bowl advertising.” The gay dating site was launched with much fanfare on January 2010. And since then there has been no turning back for them, as lots of gays have joined the website.
