Gautam Ghose: What’s Next After Moner Manush?

Bengali filmmaker Gautam Ghose has received lots of accolades for his latest release Moner Manush, which starred Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee as Lalon fakir. The film earned the ‘Golden Peacock award at Goa during the International Film Festival of India.
Now, everyone is curious to know what will be his next project after this film based on Sunil Gangopadhya’s novel ‘Moner Manush’. Gautam Ghose was recently felicitated by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Moner Manush. Speaking at this felicitation ceremony, the filmmaker announced that his next project will be a Hindi and English bilingual and it is titled Lala.
Ghose further informed that Lala is the name of a displaced boy and the story of the film is about the incredible energy of the boy and his endurance for life.
In his more than two decade long career in the film industry, Ghose has made very few films but each one is different from the other and noteworthy. So, we can expect another wonderful movie coming out of his kitty soon in the form of Lala.
Some of the renowned films by Ghose are Padma Nadir Majhi (Bengali), Gudia (Hindi), Abar Aranye (Bengali) and Kaalbela (Bengali).
