Gary Collins charged for drink driving

The veteran actor Gary Collins have been charged by the authorities with drunken driving. The actor and former TV host has two previous drunken driving convictions, and authorities say he could face up to 120 days in jail if convicted.
The California Highway patrol arrested Collins last month under the suspicion of driving a motor home while drunk.The authorities even gauged his blood alcohol content as .29, more than three times the .08 level at which a person is presumed impaired, said Lee Carter, Santa Barbara senior deputy district attorney.
The 70-year-old is a former host of the Miss America Pageant and has appeared in numerous episodes of TV series such as ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘JAG.’
Even Collins lawyer, Gilbert Gaynor, had no comment on charges being filed.
