June 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former child star Gary Coleman who died recently after suffering a fatal fall, had his family and friends right beside him. Doctors released a statement saying that the cause of death was ‘Intercranial Hemorrhage’ that occurred after the fall. His wife Shannon Price made the agonizing choice of removing the life-support from the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star. The actor was reportedly taken to the Provo Facility Medical Center in Utah after having a bad fall and hurting his head. Though the doctors said that he was ‘conscious and lucid’ at the time of admission, his condition deteriorated rapidly and soon he was put under the life-support.

Gary Coleman moved to Utah in 2005 after going through a series of physical and financial setbacks. The child star sued his own parents in 1989 for mismanaging his finances. He became a household name after his role as Arnold in ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ which aired from 1978 to 1986. He met Shannon Price during the shooting of the comedy ‘Church Ball’ and married her. The couple had their series of domestic violence cases and also an appearance in the show ‘Divorce Court’. Gary Coleman suffered from a number of medical problems that hospitalized him earlier this year in January and February. He suffered from what his family called ’seizures’. He also had a congenital kidney disorder that needed him to undergo dialysis quite frequently.

Gary Coleman’s death as mourned by the entire film fraternity. Ashton Kutcher tweeted on receiving the news that he will always be a fan. Kim Kardashian too showed shock and sadness in her tweet.
