Gary Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price revealed after his death that he wanted to get remarried to her after recovering from a heart surgery recently. The couple reportedly divorced secretly back in 2008 but decided to stay together.

Shannon Price explained that they decided on the remarriage after realizing that they had jumped into divorce too soon. She said in a recent interview that after the divorce they thought they had taken a bad decision and were due to be remarried before his death.

Shannon Price also called their relationship ‘Golden’ and said that nothing could come between them. Now that he is gone, it has become difficult to move around for her, she said in the interview. She herself is suffering from a number of medical problems like anxiety an seizures after Gary Coleman’s death.

Sheila Erickson, the couple’s agent told the media that the divorce was just a piece of paper for the couple. During his final moments, Gary Coleman reportedly referred to Shannon Price as his wife and entrusted her with all responsibilities.

According to the agent Shannon Price has an attorney who will do everything to fulfill Gary Coleman’s wishes. His estranged parents are reportedly seeking custody of their son’s ashes.

The ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star died on May 28 after sustaining head injuries after a fall. Shanon Price said that she had heard a loud ’smack’ in the kitchen and found him in a pool of blood. His condition deteriorated rapidly in the hospital and he went into a coma.

Shannon Price had to make the agonizing decision of removing her husband from the life support to let him pass away.
