Utah, Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Gary Coleman, who has earned a huge fame for the portrayal of the character Arnold Jackson in the sitcom, “Diff’rent Strokes” spent a night behind the bars. It has been reported that the actor in the recent years is experiencing several problems in his personal life. His relation with his wife, Shannon Price, is also going through a volatile stage. The actor had been arrested on the charges of domestic violence for assaulting his wife.

According to the reports, the actor had been detained in the jail for around 27 hours as nobody turned up to post a bail for him. However, it is quite surprising that the actor had been finally released from the jail, after a fan paid the bail amount $1700 to release him. The reports indicate that Jarrod Clarke, a businessman of Draper in Utah had funded the money after he came across the ’sad’ face of the actor in one of the media reports.

Jarrod Clarke is a great fan of Gary Coleman’s acting and was extremely moved by his condition. It has been reported that he had also offered to drop the actor home. However, he did not receive the opportunity as Gary Coleman’s father had come to escort him back home. Gary Coleman, who has been suffering from a chronic kidney problem had fallen sick after spending the night in jail. It has been reported that the actor, who has to visit hospital thrice every week for dialysis had missed a session for his imprisonment. Though the incident has been extremely unfortunate for the actor, he and his wife had maintained privacy on this issue.
