gary-coleman October 7, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): the death of 42-year-old actor Gary Coleman shocked the Hollywood film fraternity. The ‘Different Strokes’ star was dealing with a lot of ailments like autoimmune kidney disease and glomerulosclerosis. The actor had a strained relationship with his wife and his death set the rumor mills spinning about how his wife must have had a hand in killing him.

An extensive investigation was launched by the Police department to find out the cause of death. Recently the Santaquin Police Chief Dennis Howard confirmed that the autopsy of Gary Coleman’s body revealed that the actor died of natural causes after he fell from the stairs at his Utah home. The report said that Coleman was suffering renal failure and significant blockage of coronary arteries at the time of his death. After the May 26 incident Gary’s wife became the prime murder suspect.

However the State Medical Examiner’s autopsy report will bring the tragic incident to a close. The 42-year–old actor died at a Provo hospital two day s after his fall. Reports suggest that Shannon Price (Coleman’s wife) took the decision to remove him from life support after he suffered a brain hemorrhage.

The actor’s life was plagued with legal and health problems and he made couple of suicide attempts in the past as well. He married Shannon Price in 2007 and divorced her a year later. However the couple continued to live together and presented themselves as married in public. Coleman has made multiple wills during his lifetime, although the recent one named Price as his sole heir.
