‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ to release in two parts: Anurag Kashyap

Mumbai, Aug 20 (IANS) Filmaker Anurag Kashyap has revealed he is going to release his film “Gangs of Wasseypur” in two parts.
“‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ is coming in two parts. The second part would be the continuation of the first one,” Kashyap told IANS.
“Gangs of Wasseypur” is a revenge drama set in the backdrop of Dhanbad in Jharkhand, which is dominated by coal mine mafias. Actor Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadha and Huma Khan feature in pivotal roles in the film.
“I have finished shooting and editing of the film. I will have to sit and decide when to release the film,” said Kashyap.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma had also released his Vivek Oberoi starrer political thriller “Rakta Charitra” in the same fashion.
