August 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The talented choreographer and singer Ganesh Hegde is back with a bang! Ganesh who is credited for giving birth to the item number concept with popular songs like ‘Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo’ and ‘Khallas’, is all geared up to release his second album.

Not many know that he is the first Indian pop star to produce, write, direct and star in his debut music video (Main Deewana). After his super successful album “Main Deewana’ in 2005, Ganesh is back with yet another electrifying album. The date for the unveiling of the first look of the album was chosen after much thought as it was also the late Michael Jackson’s birthday. Ganesh has always credited the renowned singer for his transformation as a dancer/singer/performer and therefore has elements in his songs and videos, which are an ode to the legendary singer.

Besides, Ganesh stands as the only Indian choreographer who performed for the opening acts at the MJ Concert (history show) in Mumbai. Not only this, he also had the opportunity to meet the legend, and speak to him who in turn loved the Indian acts and his choreography.

Back in 2005, 18 artists had endorsed his debut album ‘G’, which was a feat in itself in the pop music scene in India. This time, he is going one step ahead and has some of the biggest Bollywood names featuring with him in the videos. Lissome lasses Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu are some of the stars who will be featuring with him in his videos.

Ganesh will be adding another feather to his hat as he has been signed on to play the lead in a movie which is slated to release in 2011.
