Ganesh Leela to go off air

April 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Now this piece of news will not please the producer and more importantly, the Lord himself. Sahara One is all set to shut curtain on Ganesh Leela, a show which it had launched amidst much fanfare in August 2009. This Creative Eye daily is all set to shut shop on May 10.
A reliable source informs, “Despite the change in the plot, Ganesh Leela hasn’t been able to rake in the required TRPs. Well, more than the TRPs, the channel is coming up with two news shows. Ganesh Leela is likely to wind up on May 10. Contiloe Films’ Bitto is likely to replace it.”
Preeti Gandwani, who plays Parvati says, “Yes, I’ve been hearing the same but thus far there has been no official intimation to us. Besides, I haven’t shot for them for the last 15 days”
We tried calling producer Dheeraj Kumar and even sent him a text message but he didn’t reply.
