Gaga’s next album to be released as app
September 7th, 2012 - 2:00 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Sep 7 (IANS) Singer Lady Gaga has found an interesting way to release her new album “Artpop” which will be out through an interactive application.
The 26-year-old announced the news on her own social networking site Little Monsters, reports contactmusic.com.
“I’m excited to tell you all that ‘Artpop’ is going to be a multimedia experience that comes in different forms. The most major way to fully immerse yourself in ‘Artpop’ is through the app…,” she wrote.
The singer said it was her fans who inspired her to do this.
“You inspired me to create something that communicated with images, because you do, you communicate with me and each other. I’m hoping you will all continue to grow together and stay connected through your creativity,” she wrote.
The app will feature bonus content, including videos, games, extra tracks, and even chat options.
Gaga will also release “Artpop” in physical and digital formats. It is expected to release next year.
