August 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Edward Furlong, best known for playing the character of John Connor in the award winning “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” is involved in a very bitter separation from his spouse, Rachael Kneeland. He also earned fame as Daniel Vinyard in the film American History X.

Rachael was granted a provisional restraining order last Friday and Furlong has been ordered by the L.A. County Superior Court to stay at least a distance of 100 yards away from his separated wife and their son, Ethan who is three-year-old now.

The request for the restraining order allegedly includes vulgarity along with several threat-laced transcripts of voicemails as well as text messages that Furlong had sent to Kneeland. It is alleged that Furlong threatened to attack Kneeland’s new boyfriend and also has called him names. She plans to play the voicemails at a scheduled court hearing to take place on the 31st August. The outcome of the court-hearing would be resolved after some time. Furlong also did have a bit of history with drugs and a particular overdose, which landed him in the hospital.

Furlong and Rachael were married on the 19th of April in the year 2006. The couple’s son, Ethan Page Furlong, took birth on the 21st of September of the same year.
