Tallahassee, Feb 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The funk legend George Clinton is in mourning as his son – George Clinton Jr. was found dead. His body was discovered at his home in Tallahassee, Florida on the 1st of February 2010. There doesn’t seem to be any suspicion of foul play in the death of the 50-year-old George Clinton Jr. The police have completed their investigation into the death, and have also said that they think that he died from natural causes. The police spokesman said that, “Barring any finding by the Medical Examiner’s Office, our investigation is complete.”
Clinton Jr.’s daughter Shonda survives him. She performs under the name of Sativa. The funk legend George Clinton was already coping with the loss of his mother Julious G. Keaton, who passed away in December 2009. It is certainly a double loss for the funk legend. The body of Clinton Jr. was discovered by a maintenance man who used to keep a tab on Clinton’s welfare, went to check on him. He got the surprise of his life, to find that the 50-year-old Clinton Jr. was lying dead in front of him.
