Los Angeles, Mar 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Funeral plans are set for much acclaimed musical artist Marie Osmond’s 18-year-old son Michael Blosil, who committed suicide last Friday by jumping off his apartment building. According to reports, a publicist of the singer has confirmed that the funeral of her young son would be taking place on Monday in Utah.

At the same time, it has also been revealed that the funeral service would be an extremely private affair which is likely to be attended by the family and close friends of the Osmonds, who would get together to pay their final respects to the teenager. Meanwhile, Alan Nierob, the publicist of the 50-year-old musical artist has also stated that the apart from members of the Osmond family, the singer’s ex-husband and Michael Blosil’s father Brian Blosil is also expected to attend the funeral. Moreover, it has come to light that in addition to the funeral which is scheduled for Monday, a viewing is likely to be held on Sunday.

Sources have revealed that the just a day after her son would be laid to rest, Marie Osmond is planning to return to her work with her brother and they would be hosting the “Donny and Marie Show” at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. The duo is likely to add five new performances in the Vegas show in order to make up for the shows which have been terminated in the wake of her son’s death. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the troubled son of Marie Osmond had been battling with depression which propelled him to jump from the eighth floor of his apartment last week.
