Full List of Golden Globe Winners: 2011
January 17th, 2011 - 1:11 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonJan 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a balmy evening as the Golden Globe Awards ceremony began at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night. The show was aired live on ‘NBC’, and there were quite a few surprises in store for the audience and stars who were awaiting the results. British comedian Ricky Gervais was the host as the show got underway.
Some of the nominations which were under consideration were such titles as ‘the King’s Speech’ which received seven nominations, and starred Colin Firth as King George VI, the stuttering king of the United Kingdom. Some of the other major titles in the running were such titles as ‘Black Swan’ starring Natalie Portman, ‘The Social Network’, which is also called ‘The Facebook Movie’, and ‘The Fighter’.
