Los Angeles, May 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Though it was mostly believed that Jeff Conaway would not survive his recent hospitalization, some of his friends and relatives have reacted to his death with a bit of shock.

The 60-year-old’s co-star on the hugely successful musical “Grease,” Olivia Newton-John told E! Online that Conaway had a “good heart.” Olivia became the sister-in-law of Conaway when he married her sister Rona in 1980. The marriage however ended after five years.

Another star, Marilu Henner who co-starred with Conaway in “Taxi” issued a statement shortly after the death of Conaway. The statement said that, “I thought he was going to pull out of this. He was just a big, loving person. I was always happy to hear from him, and I hope younger kids don’t think of him as just a guy from Celebrity Rehab because he was so much more.”

Conaway died on Friday after staying in coma for days. He was rushed to the hospital when he was found unconscious in his home on the 11th of May. The doctors tried in vain to get him to regain consciousness but he died on the 27th of May when he was taken off the life support.
