“Friday Night Lights” To Air Season 4 On NBC

5Los Angeles, May 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 4th season of the American television series “Friday Night Lights” will soon be aired for American viewers. The final episode of the 4th season had already been aired before in the month of February this year. However, the entire season will now come on air on NBC. This show, which is produced by NBC Unversal is an adaption of the book of the same name which was also made into a film later. “Friday Night Lights” first aired on the October of 2006 with an initial plan of only 13 episodes. However with the passing of days and the growing popularity of the show, the producers of “Friday Night Lights” decided to air the show on NBC for a full season.

While the first three seasons focused on the coach of the high shool football team based in Texas and his family, the fourth season showed how the coach brought the Est Dillon High Shool totally under his control. “Friday Night Lights” has always made use of the small town of Dillon and the characters living in that town to address contemporary issues that affect the people of Middle America these days.

Within the four seasons, “Friday Night Lights” has featured a total of 63 episodes. Starting May 7, the episode 4 of the television will be shown on NBC. The producers of the show have made an announcement saying that fifth season will be the last season of the popular American TV series. Critics have always commented that the show is blessed with some wonderful acting, writing and direction.
