French Model Attempts Suicide After Failed Affair

Paris, May 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Noemie Lenoir, a swimsuit model reportedly attempted to commit suicide and nearly ended up taking her own life in the attempt but ultimately failed to do so and is now in hospital recovering from the wounds. The lingerie model’s friends said in a statement that she was suffering from acute depression before the failed attempt.
Reports revealed yesterday claimed that Noemie Lenoir was spotted by a dog walker in the suburban areas of Paris, the model being a French citizen herself. According to reports submitted by the Paris police officials, Noemie Lenoir was apparently under the spell of alcohol and drugs and an overdose of sleeping pills when her body was found in the suburbs of Paris. It has also come to light that the model had herself dialled the emergency in Paris from the house of her boyfriend Claude Makelele but had later dialled back to withdraw her request for an ambulance to be sent at the house.
The 30 year old Marks and Spencer model has been in an on-off relationship with partner Claude Makelele for quite some time now. It was in the house of this Chelsea footballer that she apparently tried committing suicide. Police are speculating that the attempt to suicide must have been the outcome of a conflict in their relationship. However no official claim has been registered by the local police authorities and it is not yet known whether Claude Makelele was present in the house when Noemie Lenoir tried taking her life. The model had been in other relationships as well, so it is natural for investigators to link her suicide attempt to her failed relationships. Noemie Lenoir is now recovering in a local hospital.
