Freeman to be honoured at California film fest
November 12th, 2009 - 12:53 am ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 11 (IANS) Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman is to be honoured for his career achievements at California’s 21st Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The “Million Dollar Baby” star will receive the Career Achievement Award for Acting at the festival Jan 5 next year, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, reports contactmusic.com.
“The Palm Springs International Film Festival is honoured to present Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman with the Career Achievement Award for his large and extraordinary body of work and his many memorable performances throughout the years,” said festival chairman Harold Matzner.
