Washington, Oct 1 (ANI): Late singer Frank Sinatra was laid to rest with a bottle of bourbon, a pack of cigarettes, a lighter and a roll of dimes, so he could call his loved ones from beyond the grave, reveals a new book.

The popstar’s coffin was filled with items his family members felt he would like to take with him, reports Contactmusic.

Author Alan W. Petrucelli lists the items that were buried with Sinatra in his new book Morbid Curiosity, The Disturbing Demises of the Famous and Infamous.

Sinatra’s casket was also filled with Tootsie Rolls, his favourite candy, a dog biscuit, so he could feed the dogs in heaven, and a roll of cherry Life Savers. (ANI)
