Beverly Hills, Feb 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popular television actress Frances Reid, who was best known for the portrayal of Alice Horton’s character in the television drama “Days Of Our Lives” died on February 3, 2010. As per the reports, the veteran actress, who had been the last original cast of the long running television drama series, “Days Of Our Lives” died at the age of 95. The actress, who had been active till the last years of her life had died in Beverly Hills, California.

Though Frances Reid was 95 year old, her death news has shocked many people in the entertainment world. It has been reported that the viewers of her television drama series, who were grieved by the news of her demise searched for the death cause of the actress. The cause of her death is obscure as the officials have declined to release the death cause. As the reason of her death is not reported, it is anticipated that the actress had died a natural death.

Frances Reid had acted in the series “Days Of Our Lives” for several decades and was known to be one of the most enduring actresses of the television industry. Her gracious acting in the role of Alice Horton had received huge praises from the viewers. She had appeared in this role for several decades and her death is a great loss for the television industry. It has been reported that the actress who had scaled fame for the character of Alice Horton was a Broadway veteran, when she had made her debut in this series.
