Fox Series’ Glee To Feature Britney Spears Themed Episode

July 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is some great news for all Britney Spears fans as an episode themed on the musical artist would be part of the second season of the popular comedy-drama series “Glee.” Ryan Murphy, the creator of the hit television series had confirmed to a news source that the second season of the Fox show would showcase an episode based on the music of the “Oops! I Did it Again” singer.
Although it has been validated that a Britney Spears themed-episode would be aired in the upcoming season, it is still unsure whether the pop diva herself would be making an appearance in the segment of the comedy-drama series. In an interview to a media source, “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy added that he along with the writers of the show are working on an installment that is all set to feature some of the most popular tracks of the popstar’s catalogue. The popular comedy-drama series also created a buzz recently when it garnered as many as 19 nominations in this year’s Emmy Awards.
This is not the first time that the Fox comedy-drama series is focusing its episodes on the music of celebrated musical artists. In its first season, “Glee” dedicated two episodes to Madonna and Lady Gaga. It does come as a surprise that the show producers are again planning a popstar-themed episode as the these segments are known to receive high viewership. Meanwhile, all those die-hard Britney Spears fans who really cannot wait to catch a glimpse of the episode themed on the singing sensation, then just wait till the second season of the “Glee” makes its debut on Fox next fall.
