Four nudists on London tube leave commuters stunned
May 18th, 2010 - 1:10 pm ICT by IANSLondon, May 18 (IANS) Four men and women travelled naked by the London Underground, attracting gasps from stunned commuters.
The nudists carried handbags or briefcases to cover their modesty and they travelled on escalators and rode in the carriages as if their lack of attire was completely normal, Daily Mail reported Tuesday.
The naked travel was part of a promotion for a TV series that sees staff at struggling businesses help turn around their company.
Steven Suphi, behaviour change specialist, says stripping off in the office will help boost employees’ confidence and develop trust.
“For most people in the UK going to work in the nude is a very daunting prospect. I believe this extreme process will help them push their boundaries and become a close team that trust each other enough to get naked together,” Suphi was quoted as saying.
