Feb 7, (THAINSDIAN NEWS) Blues rock guitarist and singer Gary Moore breathed his last on Sunday. The legendary musician was on a holiday at Kempinski Hotel in Estepona, Spain and he was found dead at the early hours of the day. His former manager Adam Parsons conformed the news to the media. He was 58 years old.

Eric Bell, one of the members of Thin Lizzy band, where Gary Moore used to play expressed his condolence at the unfortunate demise of the guitarist. However, while giving an interview to a reputed media outlet, Eric Bell could not hide his shock when he said that he still cannot believe the fact that Gary Moore is no more alive. The Northern Irish rock musician also said that Gary Moore was a “robust” and a healthy person and his sudden death has left all his friends and fans in a state of utter shock. Eric Bell also said that the musician was not a “rock casualty” but a dedicated musician and a superb guitarist. Original founding member of Thin Lizzy band, Brian Downey paid his last tribute to his bandmate and said that he was shocked to hear the news of the unfortunate demise of the musician. However, he also added that Gary Moore will always be in his prayers and thoughts.

Even the official website of Gary Moore stated that the veteran musician died while he was holidaying with his family in Spain. The statement also read that their thoughts would always be with Gary Moore’s family and friends. Scott Gorham, the guitarist of Thin Lizzy expressed his condolence and said that Gary Moore will be missed by everyone.
