Former model Twiggy still maintaining good physique
October 27th, 2008 - 12:38 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 27 (IANS) Famous former model Twiggy from the 1960s has revealed secrets of her thin figure she has still maintained.”In my 40s, I developed a bit of a middle-age spread. So now I follow a healthy eating regime,” mirror.co.uk quoted Twiggy as saying.
Twiggy’s real name is Leslie Hornby and she was crowned the Face of 1966. The model was the envy of women everywhere as she said she “ate like a horse”.
“Some models starve themselves but I was just a naturally skinny kid. I used to eat everything, even big bars of chocolate, but I could not put on weight,” she said.
Twiggy is now 59 and recently participated in an event for Marks and Spencer, where she made an impact and her presence had been called “the Twiggy effect”.
