Former ‘Melrose Place’ star involved in fatal DUI crash

amy-locane Somerville, Jun 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Amy Locane, has been released on a $50,000 dollar bond after she caused a fatal accident whilst driving drunk according to the police.

She is said to have rammed her car into another car. In the accident, the driver got injured and the only passenger in the car died. The former Melrose Place actress who is now called Amy Locane-Bovenizer after her 2008 marriage to Mark, who is a wine specialist. She is also mother to two children with her husband Mark.

She was so drunk whilst driving on Sunday night, that she slammed her SUV into the passenger side of another sedan in a Montgomery township driveway in New Jersey, which is located about 10 miles from Princeton.

The sedan driver - Fred Seeman lost his wife and is presently seeking medical attention at emergency care in hospital. At the time of the accident, the actress was said to have a slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Her breath was also reeking of alcohol according to police reports. According to Fred, she was also “swerving and knocking down several mailboxes”.

The actress has admitted to drunk driving and now faces auto assault and vehicular homicide charges. If convicted, she could be in jail for a minimum of 10 years.
