Jan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud, actress Valerie Bertinelli and longtime beau Tom Vitale’s marriage, now its time for former “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler to announce the news of her wedding. Country singer Kellie Pickler exchanged vows with her beau Kyle Jacobs in January 1. The newly married singer confirmed the news to the media on Tuesday and expressed her happiness at the new lease of her life.

Sony Music, Kellie Pickler’s record label company also confirmed the news to the media by issuing a statement. The statement read that Kyle Jacobs and country singer Kellie Pickler tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday, January 1, 2011. No details of the wedding were provided in the statement. The statement also maintained that the ceremony took place on a private Caribbean island and no photos of the marriage will be available for the moment. The 24 year old gorgeous singer and Kyle Jacobs are presently enjoying their honeymoon in Caribbean. Kellie Pickler took to the social networking site to share her happiness. In one of the posts, she stated that she felt nice when someone called her “Mrs. Jacobs”.

The “Small Town Girl” singer previously told a reputed media source that she could never love somebody, the way she loves her beau and he means a world to her. The couple got engaged in June 15 last year when Kyle Jacobs proposed her on her late grandmother’s birthday. The singer told that it was an amazing day of her life and the couple spent the whole day together. She also stated that she is excited about her future as she would get to spend her whole life with Kyle Jacobs.
